The Challenge

Instant Casino, "The World’s Fastest Casino & Sportsbook," needed an instructional video that captured the brand’s high-energy identity while clearly explaining website functionality. With just nine days to deliver, we were tasked with designing a dynamic, on-brand concept, coordinating international logistics, and ensuring high production quality. Additionally, the video needed to be adaptable for multiple languages to support Instant Casino’s global reach.

The Plan

Our team quickly mobilised, setting up in-house resources and preparing equipment for international transport. We created a pre-visualisation (previs) of the storyboard, enabling Instant Casino to sign off on the concept before production. Based on our deep understanding of Instant Casino’s brand, we developed a unique concept featuring Instant Casino’s own rally driver “character”—a helmeted figure reminiscent of “The Stig.” This masked, anonymous character would guide viewers through the website, creating an exciting experience that could easily be adapted to different languages by updating only the voiceover.

To bring this vision to life:

  • Concept & Script: We designed a storyline featuring the rally driver in a high-speed tour of the website, making the instructional content thrilling and memorable.
  • Pre-Production & Logistics: Leveraging our contacts, we secured an off-season rally track in Toledo, Spain, that enhanced the brand’s colour palette and visual impact. We handled everything from branded rally car wraps to racing suits, as well as coordinating drone permits and health and safety protocols.
  • Safety and Compliance: Our team conducted a thorough recce two days in advance, meeting with the driver, health and safety experts, and finalising a shot list that balanced excitement with safety.
  • Cinematography Choices: The rugged Toledo desert backdrop ensured Instant Casino’s colours stood out on screen, while slow-motion shots of sand spraying around the car added cinematic flair. The masked character design also allowed for easy re-recording of voiceovers, making the video adaptable across different languages.

The Results

The finished video brought Instant Casino’s brand to life with an instructional guide that was as clear as it was thrilling. Although results are still forthcoming, Instant Casino now has a versatile, evergreen video that can be quickly adapted to new markets by simply updating the voiceover. Additionally, the extra footage offers a library of exciting content for social media, further extending the project’s value.
