The Challenge

Nestled in the vibrant Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, the Hockley Mills construction site faced a unique challenge: its proximity to a bustling train station. Noise was an unavoidable hurdle, but for Etex/Siniat and Robert McAlpine, it was an opportunity to shine. By providing state-of-the-art soundproofing systems, Siniat ensured the site was fit for modern living—turning a potential pitfall into a cornerstone of the project’s success.

Our task? To tell this story in a way that resonated with technical experts, construction professionals, and everyday viewers alike—all while keeping things grounded and relatable. And we had just one day to do it.

With a packed one-day schedule, we balanced efficiency with creativity, capturing dynamic b-roll and impactful interviews without disrupting the site’s operations.
